and began inventing machinery & experimented with radio controls and communications. Wanting to expand his knowledge base, he completed an electronics correspondence course. He soon opened Crow's Radio & TV in 1960. Robert became popular with area residents by helping them get their first television sets. He also introduced wireless telephone and radio paging service to Colorado's San Luis Valley. In the 1970's, Robert opened the first Radio Shack franchise in Monte Vista, which allowed him to begin providing repeater 2-way radio service to several farms and local businesses. Over the years, Robert has pioneered providing numerous communications technologies in the San Luis Valley, including trunked 2-way radio/phones, paging services, pivot irrigations guidance, radio and TV stations, and numerous other remote wireless system monitors.

General Manager CLIFF KINCANNON is a valley native and grandson of Roy Kincannon, the founder of El Blanco Tire in Monte Vista. Cliff ran his own trucking company for over ten years. Climbing fuel prices gave him a sour taste for the trucking business and he decided to escape the crowds of Albuquerque & Phoenix and return to help his step-dad, Robert Crow, keep the San Luis Valley communicating.
